The Alliance Library System (ALS) of Illinois and TAP Information Systems are teaming up to bring you a full day of information on improving your job and job-seeking skills, starting or changing your career, marketing yourself and general library career topics.  The day begins with a keynote speech from Rachel Singer Gordon, the webmaster of LISjobs.com.  Following the keynote, several concurrent sessions will run, including:

• International Opportunities for Librarians
• Online Professional Networking
• Continual Professional Improvement
• Starting Your Own Consulting Company
• and more!

Simmons students and alumni are welcome to join us for free using our group membership.  We will provide the space, technology and snacks, along with handouts from our own Career Resources Library to help you get the most out of the day.  Can't make it to campus?  We can provide you with a password that you can use for free from home, as long as you are a current Simmons student or alumni.
